Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Technology Product Manager to join the UI team for our Schwab Intelligent PortfoliosTM and associated digital advisory services. The Product Manager will help maintain and develop new features for both products while also focusing heavily on driving business outcomes through metrics and business intelligence.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of clients and identify trends in the digital advisory marketplace.
  • Provide thought leadership in the design of new processes and interactions to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that track key business and technology metrics.
  • Be the team’s go to subject matter expert for analytics and key performance indicators.
  • Assist in creating detailed business requirements including Agile user stories and workflows to define product features.
  • Attend Agile ceremonies including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and product demonstrations.
  • Support iterative testing and ongoing improvement of the client experience.
  • Work with technical counterparts and help investigate production issues as they arise.

 

What you have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial services, product management, consulting, or strategy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to manage and lead through ambiguity.
  • Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
  • Effectiveness in building trusted partnerships in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience applying problem-solving skills to drive results.
  • Ability to drive change and support new ways of thinking and operating across organizational boundaries.
  • Strong influencing skills: Builds credibility with peers and key stakeholders to drive action.
  • A strong track record of performance.
  • Experience with Agile development (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
