Our Opportunity:

 

  • Design and implement new user-facing features in Charles Schwab’s products.
  • Define and present a vision for the future of Mobile Application Technology
  • Design and build libraries and frameworks to support large, complex web applications
  • Design scalable, performant client-side code.
  • Build on top of our infrastructure to create the services that support an excellent mobile experience.
  • Strive for top quality results and continuously look for ways to improve and enhance application reliability, performance, and security.

 

What you have:

 

Required:

 

  • 4+ years of experience developing complex solutions for Android devices
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, JavaScript, Java, Objective-C and/or Swift.
  • Extensive experience in designing native solutions for Android devices
  • Deep knowledge of the following languages: Java and Koitland
  • Experience with Android Developer Tools, Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of UI frameworks (either Android, iOS, XML), MVP application design and complex, reactive touch based UI.
  • 5+ years of architecture experience

 

Preferred:

 

  • Ability to learn and develop skills in other programming languages.
  • Deep technical knowledge of mobile application development (either Android or iOS).
  • Strong understanding of mobile user interface guidelines and best practices.
  • Well versed with the use of REST API services.
  • Some knowledge and experience with systems integration.
  • Some knowledge and experience with server side .NET preferred
  • Experience with development of finance systems
