Our Opportunity:

The Treasury Cash Management team within Charles Schwab’s Corporate Treasury Department is looking for a motivated, inquisitive, and experienced Treasury Systems Analyst for our team. Working closely with the team, this position will take on a key role supporting our critical software systems (primarily GTreasury, our treasury workstation) and be the technical expert involved in a variety of tasks and projects to support the cash management needs of the team.  The position is a hybrid position that requires technical skills but will be involved in the daily cash management processes in both a control role and backup for the cash managers.

What you’ll do:

  • Directly engage with your Cash Management team members, software vendors and Treasury Support staff
  • Become an Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the underlying system processes and data structures that support the Treasury  Cash Management team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with team members and stakeholders
  • See the big picture but also navigate the details
  • Work collaboratively as a team player to develop mutually acceptable solutions
  • Solve problems and provide support, taking responsibility to make decisions when appropriate
  • Provide crisp and well-understood directives and communication
  • Communicate on a technical and non-technical level to all levels of staff and management
  • Understand applications from a technical and business perspective

What you have:

  • Demonstrate a high capacity for problem solving, technical knowledge, and advanced learning techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, organization, decision-making, and influencing skills
  • Team player with strong collaborative qualities and a positive demeanor
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, Visual Basic, Visio Drawing tool, data mining and report building along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required
  • Ability/desire to listen and encourage thoughts, opinions and discussions where needed
  • Understanding of, and preferably experience in, cash management practices and processes
  • Experience in developing, configuring and maintaining treasury workstation software
  • College degree in Finance, Business or Information Technology
  • Experience in financial services, cash management, wire transfer operations or bank operations
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain composure while dealing with tight time constraints
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure in a potentially stressful environment
  • Knowledge of treasury workstations, Fedwire, SWIFT and correspondent bank funds transfer systems
  • Series 7 or 99 license required (Unlicensed applicants must successfully complete licensing exam within 6 months of hiring as a condition of employment)
  • Certified Treasury Professional designation preferred but not required
