What you’ll do: 

The AS Pricing and Billing (AS P&B) Technology Specialist is the Business SME responsible for understanding AS P&B workflows and delivering improvements through technology. In this role they will be interfacing with technology partners that develop and maintain the AS P&B team's technology infrastructure. The AS P&B Technology Specialist will actively participate with the team to identify potential process improvements and will then drive process improvements by interfacing with various internal partners and technology project teams.

 Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Being a proactive self-starter focused on driving comprehensive workflow solutions 
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of AS P&B services
  • Deepening internal partner relationships while managing technical projects
  • Researching and implementing new technology solutions to improve AS P&B process efficiencies
  • Ensuring AS P&B is aligned with internal partners concerning technology and processes
  • Serving as the business lead for AS P&B technology projects
  • Performing QA testing of enhancements prior to project releases
  • Proven ability to write business requirements, including user stories, and project plans, use case development and work flow documentation
  • Passion for the user experience and the ability to see things from a user perspective
  • Conducting virtual and onsite training on technology related topics
  • Analyzing and delivering clear data pictures in MS Excel or other analytics tools
  • Developing communication strategies, both internal and external, in order to inform impacted parties of changes and enhancements to technology
  • Translating user initiated business requirements into usable data for technology partners
  • Driving projects to completion while tracking to plan
  • Product and project management skills. Business judgment, including ability to balance resources, evaluate and address risks, and concisely articulate where trade-off decisions are to be made
  • Strategic mindset to help drive product management decisions, governance, and long-term vision

What you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree(preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Advisor Services
  • Solid computer skills are a must with strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are critical
  • Work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to present to audiences of varying size
  • Be able to deliver complex information while maintaining a positive client experience
  • A proven track record of technology expertise
  • Ability to learn the inner workings of system based tools and how they interact
  • Proven ability of analyzing data and improving workflows
