Our Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or another technical field with a solid foundation in Software/Computer Technology. This person will be part of the team responsible for growing and understanding Schwab’s Genesys Contact Center solutions. This role will be responsible for documenting, designing, developing, testing, supporting, and troubleshooting the Genesys and telephony products at Schwab.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain Schwab’s current contact center platforms and recommend new technologies/advancements that will enhance the platform.
  • Participate in project planning process
  • Participate in the identification of technical system requirements
  • Develop or modify software application modules using pre-established software development guidelines
  • Assist in the development of accurate time estimates to support project requirements
  • Adhere to quality standards and procedures
  • Document functions and changes to new or modified software application modules and testing activities/results
  • Participate with the production environment implementation of new or modified software application modules
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, while planning and tracking status on several projects
  • Ability to adapt to constant business change and changing requirements
  • Working knowledge of commonly used software programming concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Good discovery skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to collaborate on a team level with excellence, dignity, and respect
  • Possess excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage own time efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to deliver positive, measurable results that follow through to production (not leaving projects 90% done)

  • Creative problem solving skills and excellent debugging skills
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code and ensure designs are in compliance with specifications

What you have:

  • Possess a good working knowledge of object oriented programming or software engineering
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies
  • Solid analytical skills, problem determination, and ability to deliver quality products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Not Required or expected, but a plus if you have it

  • Familiarity with a Dev Ops model with experience in automated build and deploy as well as automated testing tools
  • Understanding of how projects are developed and delivered in an Agile environment
  • Any knowledge of the Genesys Product Suite: Framework; IRD and Composer Routing; Administrator WFM; CCPulse; CCA/ICON; SIP or InfoMart
  • Genesys training and certification
