Our Opportunity:

Business Systems Analysts are responsible for understanding and translating the needs of the business with the use of technology. They ensure their deliverables are aligned with business need and requirements, provide advice, and work cross-functionally with the project team. Experience leading different project roles is beneficial for success in this role.  They possess strong inter-personal communication skills and time management skills with a strong ability to communicate and work well with others.  They possess strong analytical skills and the ability to produce efficient solutions and protocols to meet the objectives through agile. 

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborative design for a solution architecture which meets the program objectives and business needs
  • Identify, prioritize, engineer, and deliver tactical and long-term solutions to maximize the business value
  • Collaboration, development and management of functional features, user stories, high level requirements and detailed level requirements to drive a business and technology solution
  • Design and development of system interface specification and flow diagrams
  • Design and development of context diagrams, intersystem dependency diagrams, and sequence diagrams
  • Development and support of test plans and user acceptance criteria for feature, user story and functional delivery
  • Provide objectives for development scrum team prioritization of features, user stories for iteration planning
  • The initial and ongoing design and development for a consolidation effort of multiple business customer facing portals into a single streamlined customer management portal
  • Support development on the activities needed to execute the business vision and goals for a defined release
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders to facilitate the vision, release planning, features, user stories & overall program
  • Manage the business and stakeholder expectations within the defined program scope, vision, and release
  • Facilitate and Implement change control process for impact analysis to scope, budget and release timelines 

What you have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst, Systems Analyst, and/or Business Analyst 
  •  Understand business processes, roles, steps and goals
  •  Can identify opportunities for process improvement
  •  Understand organizational culture, structure, and constraints
  •  Ability to identify and analyze business and technology requirements
  •  Manage project requirements across functional groups including traceability and changes
  •  Communicates with stakeholders and can identify their needs
  •  Coordinates User Acceptance Testing
  •  Understand what the business does (i.e. products, goals, services and competitors)
  •  Experience in the financial industry is a plus
  • Experience in Cucumber and Gherkin is a plus
  •  BA/BS degree
