Our Opportunity:

The Technical Director of the Endpoint Threat Management team will lead the technical endpoint strategy as well as key initiatives. The candidate will also serve as a key interface into both the Technology and Risk Management teams, and will be responsible for the technical direction of all activities within the endpoint vulnerability threat management program.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the implementation of Carbon Black Enterprise Protection
  • Assist in the development, and manage the execution of the program’s strategic vision and roadmap
  • Develop the technical strategy of the endpoint threat management program
  • Orchestrate all daily activities within the program and oversee the governance of its processes
  • Work collaboratively with the Cyber Threat Intelligence team to include proactive threat data that can be used to configure and harden Schwab endpoints
  • Develop plans with executive management and technical resources to enhance the current Red Team and Vulnerability Management processes
  • Provide consultation and coordination with Technology teams
  • Communicate any corporate changes to the Information Security Technology Standards
  • Monitor global cybersecurity trends
  • Ability to work in an enterprise environment where it is required to keep up to date on security, procedures, and policies and to ensure they are consistently followed
  • Ability to interact with the business, technology partners and product owners to define security requirements

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Researching new threats, attack vectors and risk.
  • 5+ years in a technical information security assessment role
  • 10+ years technical operations providing system/platform support
  • IT Security certifications a plus; CISSP, CCNA, CISA, or GIAC equivalent
  • Technical Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Carbon Black Enterprise Protection
  • Advanced Knowledge of configuration and patch compliance for windows, nix based systems and custom appliances
  • Knowledge of elements of information technology stack ( i.e. network, operating system, sub-system, display/application) and inter-relationships between the various functional components
  • Expert knowledge in computer and network security
  • Experience with administration including the ability to configure and resolve complex security issues in support of enterprise endpoints (25,000+ nodes) in a geographically dispersed environment
