Our Opportunity:

The Social Coach is responsible for delivering high quality social coaching to Charles Schwab sales professionals.  The Social Coach delivers that coaching through interactive workshops and individual coaching sessions with a group of sales professionals during their first few months on social media.  The coaching is focused on social selling skill development across several areas of focus, including growing one’s network, publishing successful posts, best leveraging social media functionality and others.  The Social Coach is also responsible for collaborating with sales professionals in the development of their online profiles.  The Social Coach is instrumental in helping sales professionals learn how to use social media most productively in the context of Charles Schwab’s social media policies and procedures. 

What you’ll do:

  • Management of a group of sales professionals through a social media coaching program
  • Facilitation of individual online profile development; collaboration with each sales professional in the development of the online profile and provide administrative support for online profile approval
  • Participation as a subject matter expert in select training modules
  • Lead monthly workshops with group of sales professionals to share challenges, best practices and to introduce new social selling skills
  • Lead monthly individual coaching sessions with each sales professional in the group; work closely with Social Media program team, sales professional’s manager and Centralized Supervision team to identify individual areas for coaching
  • Regularly gather best practice and case studies and continually learn about the evolving social media and regulatory landscape
  • Contribute to the Social Media program team’s efforts to continually improve the program and the effectiveness of the Social Coach role 

What you have:

  • Have a combination of experience in coaching, training, sales management, social media program management, or similar roles
  • Experience in coaching and/or managing virtually
  • Deep expertise in social media, specifically with LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
  • Ability to quickly establish a strong rapport with Schwab sales professionals, gaining their respect and trust that you will help them master the basics of social media
  • Build strong internal relationships with other Social Coaches and broader Social Media program team; thrives in an initiating, building and cultivating strong authentic relationships across the firm
  • Well organized and successfully lead multiple coaching engagements at once
  • Well-developed presentation and facilitation skills
  • Travel infrequent, approximately two weeks per quarter
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
