Our Opportunity:

The Senior Manager role is responsible for supporting the development and deployment of Charles Schwab’s new Social Media program to enable sales professionals in all Schwab’s business lines incorporate LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook into their business practice while complying with regulatory requirements.  This includes strategy, execution and program management of all elements of the program and requires strong collaboration with technology and platform development teams, compliance teams, field leaders and other key partners.  This person is an individual contributor who reports to the Managing Director and will lead various efforts to support the development and ongoing management of the Social Media program.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the program management of Charles Schwab’s Social Media program for sales professionals serving individual investors, registered investment advisors, employers, and asset managers
  • Contribute to the successfully initial roll-out and associated expected results of the new Social Media program
  • Ensure program remains in compliance with applicable regulatory, legal, audit and supervision/control requirements
  • Supports governance-related functions for the program
  • Develops subject matter expertise on the sales professional’s needs for social media capabilities including programmatic features, skill development, coaching and support
  • Regularly learns about competitive programs and evolving landscape
  • Supports the development of the multi-year roadmap for the program’s expansion

What you have:

  • 5+ years in a product management or client experience role in financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or post-grad degree highly preferred
  • Skilled in operating at both strategic and tactical levels; results-oriented mindset able to support an initiative from concept to execution
  • Thrives on building and cultivating strong authentic relationships across the firm; highly collaborative
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including being able to synthesize data to identify trends
  • Ability to manage multiple projects that vary in scope and complexity simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines with little supervision 
  • Curiosity, a can-do attitude and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment
