Our Opportunity:

The Enterprise Learning and Talent Management team within Schwab Human Resources is responsible for both firm level as well as enterprise level learning and talent development.  Located at Schwab’s state of the art LoneTree, CO campus, this role will not only support the work of this newly combined team, but will also support the team’s and the business’ growth in partnership with the SVP of Enterprise Learning and Talent Management.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President and other Learning and Talent executives/professionals.
  • Facilitate internal and external communication.
  • Meeting planning/facilitation for local social events, meetings, and trainings.
  • Manage expense reports, travel and procurement of supplies, partner with vendor management for invoice processing and check requests. 
  • Calendar management, scheduling meetings/calls for internal and external participants. This includes complex calendar management that involves multiple attendees and locations. Work with Administrative staff to coordinate scheduling for Senior Leaders.
  • Manage new employee onboarding process to include coordinating interview schedules, candidate travel, secure seating, procurement of supplies and technology and ensuring the new hires completion of required training and certifications. 
  • Demonstrate Schwab culture as a representative of the team.  Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other employees within the organization.
  • Act as a back-up to other administrative assistants and assist with special projects as needed.

What you have:

  • 2-5+ years of administrative assistant experience, preferably in financial services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, as well as a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with diplomacy and discretion.
  • The ability to manage multiple and changing priorities, while maintaining a flexible, positive and professional attitude.
  • High level of proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong time management, planning and scheduling skills.
