Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Risk & Controls to maintain and continuously improve our control environment to manage risks, and address audit, regulatory and client requirements by using our control frameworks.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate with control owners to modify procedures to ensure effective controls in our areas of responsibility.
  • Provide documentation and maintenance of control procedures to support RCSA (Risk Controls Self-Assessment) controls.
  • Author procedural steps for consistent audit response for RCSA controls Manage and maintain GDT risk documentation and controls.
  • Communicate to leadership on control effectiveness and issues. Respond to issue inquiries, maintain issue and action plan information, and ensure the upload of supporting evidence to the appropriate risk management platform (SIRIS and/or Archer).
  • Develop and communicate GDT-wide Risk Controls Implementation Strategy and Plans Ensure closure of Issues and Management Action Plans Coordinate all new audits (internal, SOX, etc.) with audit teams and control owners.
  • Work with STS and Corporate risk management teams to improve the risk management and control process for STS, and ensure coordination with corporate and STS risk management initiatives. 

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology discipline or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry Strong, in-depth experience with complex, enterprise-wide IT platform operations
  • Knowledge and experience with IT risk management and use of control frameworks.
  • Issue Validation and Acceptance Issue to Control Mapping Certification Research & Preparation
  • Experience in Internal, External and Regulatory Audit Coordination
  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate & educate broader team in the area of Risk Controls Strong organizational, critical thinking, facilitation capabilities and the interpersonal skills necessary to assess problems, analyze options, navigate diverse perspectives and objectives and develop appropriate risk management options with clear trade-offs
  • Strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and drive to see projects through to successful completion.
  • Assertive and proactive and have the ability to bring out the best in others.
