Our Opportunity:

The Digital Solutions organization has responsibility for business operations and strategy for Schwab's client-facing and internal web, email, mobile, messaging, representative desktop, and other digital channels.  The Digital Solutions organization is accountable to the firm for the successful delivery of Schwab's offers, products, and services across these vehicles. handles over 380 million client interactions annually.  For the Digital Services Team, that means platform and product management responsibilities for over 200 thousand move money page views per week.  We are the team that shapes the digital experience for our clients for a host of on-line deposit and payment functions, including:  ACH, Wire, Remote Deposit, Bill Pay, intra-company transfers and more.  We are seeking additional support as we embark on a multi-year funded initiative, Asset Transfer Modernization, which will transform our deposits and payments infrastructure and modernize the user interface for this critical client-facing functionality.  The portfolio of work will take place across several work streams and multiple projects giving the selected candidate an opportunity to expand their management skills and product development expertise in our quest to provide starkly superior asset transfer capabilities relative to our competition. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team with day–to-day responsibility for platform and product management business ownership of core move money platforms
  • Provide thought leadership in the design of new processes and interactions to enhance the overall client experience
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of business needs and objectives by gathering and documenting input from users and stakeholders for future functional changes and identifying short-term and long-term solutions in support of continued program development
  • Manage the pipeline and backlog of both maintenance enhancements and high priority projects related  to money movement applications across, mobile and other platforms
  • Prioritize product business program based on service call data and website analytics to identify opportunities for improving client service and reducing Schwab service costs
  • Monitor ACH, OFAC, FINRA, FedWire, Reg E, Reg CC, S.W.I.F.T. and other rule and regulatory changes and developments to ensure Schwab Brokerage and Bank systems are compliant and up to date
  • Provide regular and concise updates to management
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to cross-functional groups

  • A strong track record of performance
  • Understanding and/or experience with financial services regulations
  • Familiarity with all forms of money movement including ACH, Brokerage, Bank and affiliate cash transfers, wires, and mobile deposits and payments preferred
  • A BA/BS degree (MBA preferred)
  • 7-10 years of consumer or retail product management or product development within financial services preferred
  • Knowledge of  Schwab products, services and support systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile methods and processes is a plus
