Our Opportunity:

The Advisor Services Production Reliability Engineering team is responsible for defining strategic direction and transforming from legacy release/production support to DevOps and CI/CD through automation and process change for multiple applications across the portfolio. We are approaching this transformation using Agile or SAFe framework to implement the right Tools and Process. This position will accelerate the journey to a mature DevOps organization through collaboration, partnership and influence with other technology teams. The person will have a passion for continuous improvements and be skilled in BPM and Agile Project Management.

What you’ll do:

  • Evaluate current Build/config/deploy/release as well as Tier 1 and 2 Production support processes.Design and document Agile ITSM / DevOps processes and drive the teams to executing on them. Measure and report progress.
  • Ensure that the goals and outcomes are in harmony with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Work collaboratively across all Dev/QA teams within the organization to introduce the process and drive for adoption. Be the voice of Agile DevOps across the partner technology teams.
  • Perform on-going process reviews to improve these workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Understand reliability metrics that are important to business partners. Create & maintain dashboards and measurements for these. Review the metrics with leadership and partners and recommended actions.
  • Implement practices like Change Advisory Board, Incident Review Board and other best practices that ensure the production environments meet or exceed the reliability metrics.
  • Report process improvement recommendations to senior management.
  • Be the champion for adoption of Agile DevOps process, practices and tools across organization and facilitate removing any roadblocks.

What you have:

  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience in these areas
  • 8+ years’ experience in Technology
  • Self-motivated critical thinker that can drive organizational change
  • Experience creating and managing incident, problem, change and configuration management processes
  • Experience leading project work across multiple teams; strong project management capabilities
  • Experience in a range of industry-leading methodologies/practices such as ITIL, Agile, SRE, DevOps, SAFe
  • Previous experience setting value-based process improvement objectives, developing process improvement strategy, developing and implementing new processes, defining key performance parameters, and developing documentation and training
  • Previous experience on process development and process roll-out
  • Experience in reviewing project scopes, and change management implementation and rollback plans
  • Previous experience understanding and documenting customer requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills
  • Results driven professional with a record of achieving operational service quality improvements with creative and innovative leadership skills
  • Must be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and facilitator with strong analytical and presentation skills and demonstrated ability to lead and execute projects
  • Strong experience at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done. Knows how to organize people and activities, understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow. Knows what to measure and how to measure it; can see opportunities for synergy and integration and can simplify complex processes.
  • Experience working in financial or banking industry
