What you’ll do:

The Service Director is responsible for driving business results across a diverse set of Service teams.  The Director position will have several direct reports who are Team Managers.  Those Team Managers are responsible for service professionals who provide the superior service that represents our competitive advantage.  Additionally, the Director role includes:

  • Motivating and inspiring our service teams to provide an outstanding client experience 
  • Actively participating in the development of our strategy to create an industry-leading and scalable service experience for advisors. Driving execution of that strategy by collaborating with colleagues across Advisor Services
  • Delivering on a number of key business objectives including employee engagement, client survey scores, team service levels, Specialist accuracy, and electronic adoption 
  • Supporting and developing Team Managers 
  • Providing on-site leadership for service teams and other local leaders
  • Building and Maintaining strong business partnerships with employees and leaders across the firm, particularly with AS Sales

What you have:

  • Series 7, 63 & 9/10 required.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and influence employees and business partners 
  • Ability to design, analyze and implement creative solutions to complex problems 
  • Ability to develop and execute a plan that applies to the many vs. the one (a broad client segment vs. a single client situation)
  • Willingness to own problem resolution through its completion 
  • Superior follow-up, along with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication  
  • Experience developing, leading and executing projects
  • Team-oriented with the ability to act as a resource for development of the team’s effectiveness 
  • 10+ years brokerage custody experience required
