The position will support and enhance products in under the Schwab Wealth Investment Advisory division which currently consists of Schwab Intelligent Portfolios and Schwab Intelligent Advisory. Schwab Intelligent Portfolios is a native mobile and responsive web fully automated investment advisory service with features such as, goal tracking, automatic rebalancing and tax-loss harvesting. Schwab Intelligent Advisory is a hybrid advisory service that takes the benefits from Schwab Intelligent Portfolios and adds in financial planning and live credentialed professionals.
What you’ll do:
The Full Stack Tech Lead will be part of a development team responsible for building enterprise web-based applications within the Product Development and Engineering organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully building and supporting enterprise web applications and services. The candidate will focus their efforts leading the design and development for scrum teams. These scrum teams build, enhance and support applications for the Schwab Wealth Investment Advisory division.
We're looking for technology leaders who are enthusiastic about digital financial products, innovation and guiding teams to build exceptional software solutions. The role will require a high level of responsibility yet has a support structure necessary for development growth.
What you have:
•7+ years demonstrated real world experience in enterprise web application development.
•7+ years demonstrated real world experience in object oriented languages such as .NET Core, Java, or C#
•7+ years demonstrated real world experience in software engineering principles, such as software design patterns.
•7+ years demonstrated real world experience in database principles, such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB or Hadoop.
•Experience in RESTful service design and implementation.
•Experience mentoring and guiding developers.
•Experience using PaaS solutions and concepts.
•Expertise in software design, patterns and practices.
•Expertise in the software development lifecycle with proven examples of process improvement.
•A yearning to leverage technology to build products that "wow" users
•Strong problem solving and the ability to partner with business and technologists across the organization are required.
