Our Opportunity:

Senior Product Manager, Account Aggregation. The person in this role will be responsible for the platform used to retrieve, manage, and distribute account information held outside of Schwab’s internal books and record platforms. This person will also take a primary role in managing the vendor relationships in place that support the account aggregation experience at Schwab.

What you’ll do:

  • Take ownership of the core account aggregation platform which includes; integration of data sources both in and outside of Schwab, management of the data in a distributed database platform, and a web services architecture for providing access to the data across the organization.
  • Create requirements and user stories for new features and logic within the account aggregation platform. 
  • Prioritize requirements and provide input into the overall account aggregation roadmap. 
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise and on-going thought leadership to internal partners who are building the user experiences that integrate with the account aggregation platform Identify areas of opportunities for leveraging the account aggregation platform to centralize and standardize held-away client account information across Schwab’s various organizations and affiliates. 
  • Partner with internal data domains, as well as external vendors, to ensure the quality and reliability of the client data is consistently maintained. 
  • Partner with architecture and technology leadership to ensure the account aggregations fit within the overall enterprise architecture.

What you have:

  • Significant experience in Agile development practices and Product Owner responsibilities.
  • Expertise in financial services including a deep understanding over the range of financial product and account types available to consumers today. 
  • High adaptability in managing an emerging platform through new and evolving consumer trends in financial data management. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage the heightened risk profile associated with supporting client data visible on some of the most popular financial service platforms in the country. 
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with a variety internal consumer platforms and external partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and must exemplify the vision and values of Schwab.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and data analysis concepts  (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture and RESTful service principles (preferred)
