As a Retirement Plan Specialist you will work with multiple client groups including retirement plan sponsors, participants, and recordkeepers while delivering on Schwab’s purpose of championing every client’s goals with passion and integrity.

What you’ll do:

The Schwab Personal Choice Retirement Account® (PCRA) is a self-directed brokerage account that is typically linked to a 401(k) plan. In this role, you will be managing inbound calls, emails and chats from retirement plan participants, 3rd party administrators, and recordkeeping partners. You are responsible for wearing multiple hats, such as assisting with trades, enabling online access, answering general retirement plan questions, operational issues, and other participant service issues. This team is responsible for servicing over $30 billion in retirement assets.

What you have:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Active FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 licenses
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience within Retirement Services, preferably in a customer service role
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication  
  • Exceptional customer service focus
  • Strong team orientation with a strong work ethic  
  • Ability to manage complex work and be self-directed
  • Effective listening and probing skills to understand needs and provide solutions to participants
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications
